Decoding Refurbished Grades Before You Pay
Grades describe appearance, not performance, yet most buyers overpay for polish they never notice. Know what each label promises, and you can spend where it counts and save everywhere else.
Good As New
Often marketed as flawless, this top grade means no visible scratches at arm’s length and a battery that holds strong. You pay a premium for looks, so ask whether the extra cash buys anything beyond bragging rights at dinner parties.
Good Means Cosmetic
Good grade phones carry visible scratches or dings, yet the screen works, the battery is healthy and the camera shoots beautifully. It is the cheapest sensible choice, especially if you already own a sturdy case and absolutely zero vanity.
Excellent Is Sweet
Light micro-scratches might appear under bright lights, but the phone performs identically to a pristine one. Sellers like Mozillion test every function before grading, which makes Excellent the sweet spot for budget-minded buyers wanting real value without any visible compromise.
Read Seller Policies
Grades are not standardised across the industry, so one seller’s Excellent is another’s Good. Check photos, battery percentage and warranty terms. Mozillion publishes clear grade definitions, which spares you from decoding vague marketing language yourself and keeps nasty surprises well away.

I almost paid extra for the top grade, then realised Excellent looked identical. My phone arrived spotless, battery strong, warranty included. The savings comfortably funded three lovely weekend trips away.

I chose Good grade. A few scratches, nothing a case cannot hide, and the phone works perfectly. My classroom budget never recovered from glue sticks, so every saved pound mattered.
Rohan Verma

Mozillion’s grade descriptions matched the phones exactly. I bought five Excellent units for my team, none disappointed, and the accounts department stopped glaring at me during our monthly budget review.

Good as New earned its premium for me. Flawless screen, perfect battery, camera ready for filming. Honestly, I cannot tell it from a brand-new box, and neither can my followers.
